EcoPass Tajikistan

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026
Note: This is a plain-language draft policy prepared for EcoPass Tajikistan's early pilot stage. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. Before relying on it as a binding legal document — especially for grant applications or formal partnerships — we recommend a professional legal review appropriate to Tajikistan and any relevant international jurisdictions.

1. Who we are

EcoPass Tajikistan is an eco-tourism loyalty platform connecting travellers with sustainable local partners across Tajikistan. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it's protected.

2. What information we collect

We do not collect payment card details directly — partner subscription and premium payments are currently arranged manually (e.g. via WhatsApp) rather than processed through the app.

3. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. How your information is protected

Data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure and transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Access to traveller and partner records is restricted at the database level — individual records can only be read using their specific ID, and business/administrative data requires authenticated access.

5. What we share publicly

Our Impact Dashboard shows aggregate, anonymous numbers only (e.g. total travellers registered, total partners onboarded) — never names, phone numbers, or any information that could identify an individual.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to update or delete your information at any time by contacting us at the email below. As an early-stage pilot, we handle these requests manually and will respond as quickly as we can.

7. Changes to this policy

As EcoPass grows — including adding automated payments — this policy will be updated accordingly, with a new "last updated" date above.
